From lax skills to life skills

[su_pullquote]We specialize in the training of the lacrosse athlete, no matter what age or skill the player is currently at. We do this through league play, clinics, camps, and our travel elite teams. [/su_pullquote] You have probably heard of, if not actually experienced, some aspect of HGR’s unparalleled lacrosse training. We offer an intensive, year-round series of varied instruction opportunities for the youth of our communities, beginning at the earliest grades and continuing straight through high school, to advance their game to the next level, and the next levels beyond that.

This all starts with our staff of professional lacrosse coaches, who themselves have committed  to being their best at the sport, and who themselves have advanced through years of development. Our staff is dedicated to bringing out the best in our student-athletes in a safe and positive way. We keep the training fun and engage players of all skill-layers, all with the ultimate goal of helping our players get into a good college and get that recruitment letter. Also, we strive to develop the players’ character and confidence, even those who choose a non-college athlete path. To quote our leader, HGR owner and coach Bryan Brazill, “We specialize in the training of the lacrosse athlete, no matter what age or skill the player is currently at. We do this through league play, clinics, camps, and our travel [Elite] teams.”

Learning to stay focused and motivated on the field is another strong part of our training program. A few of the other life skills our players will carry with them are confidence, learning to recover from disappointments, leadership, self-respect and respect for others, and the drive to succeed.

At HGR, you’ll find training for individuals as well as teams, some focusing on specific skills, others having a broader scope. Learn more at https://hgrlacrosse.com/programs/clinics/, and regularly visit our site and social media for schedules and announcements.
