Is futsal contagious? YES! But it’s not an illness. Futsal (pronounced foot-sal or futt-sal) is a variety of indoor football (soccer to us) that has its origins in South America in the 1930s. “Fustal” roughly translated means mini- football. It is a variant of soccer played on a smaller indoor field with a smaller, heavier, less bouncy ball. Games consist of 2 teams comprised of 5 players per team, one of whom is the goalkeeper, with unlimited substitutions allowed. The ball and rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces.

Registration for this fun competition is open! Our first session begins December 1 and runs through February 1. We must limit each session to 25 players to guarantee playing time for all, so register now!
